Your Spanish Roadmap

The Roadmap to Spanish 30-Day Programme includes 20 Spanish classes with a duration of 55min each designed to help you communicate with confidence and speed. 

• 📅 Flexible Start Date: You can begin the programme at the start of the month or choose a start date that works best for you. I understand that everyone’s schedule is different, so I give you the freedom to choose a date that’s most convenient for your situation. Once you start, however, your 30-day period begins and must be completed within that timeframe.

• ⏳ Class Structure: The programme consists of 20 lessons, each lasting 55 minutes. Classes are held Monday to Friday, giving you the flexibility to select slots based on your availability. I’m based in Ubud, Indonesia (GMT+8), so I offer different time slots to accommodate students across various time zones. If you’re in a different time zone, we’ll find a solution that works for both of us.

• 📍 Completing the Programme: You’ll need to complete all 20 lessons within the 30-day period, meaning you can have a class every weekday, from Monday to Friday. Unfortunately, unused classes cannot be carried over, so it’s important to commit to the full 30 days.

• 💬 Your Progress: The goal is to get you speaking Spanish in real-life scenarios, fast! Each class builds on the previous one, giving you everything you need to keep improving without feeling overwhelmed. You’ll have access to all the materials I provide, including vocab sheets, a guidebook, audios, and more.

Important Notes:

• Classes are subject to availability, so the sooner you book, the sooner you can start!

🔄 Reschedule up to 4 classes: Life happens! If you need to reschedule a class, you can do so up to 4 times within the 30-day period. Just give me at least 24 hours' notice⏳. This way, we can make sure everything runs smoothly!

📅 Timing and availability: Rescheduled classes must be taken within the 30-day programme duration. I’ll do my best to accommodate you, but they’ll depend on my available slots.

🚫 No-shows: If you miss a class without giving prior notice, that class will unfortunately be forfeited. It’s important to communicate in advance so we can keep everything on track!

📅 Group Class Considerations: If you miss a class, don't worry! You’ll still get access to the materials and the recording of the class (if all the other students agree). That way, you won’t fall behind and can catch up on what was covered.

⏳ Commitment is key: When you book your spot, you're committing to the full 30-day programme, and I reserve time and resources specifically for you.

🚫 No Partial Refunds or Transfers: If you can't complete the programme for any personal reasons, I can’t offer partial refunds or transfers to another course or time.

🔄 Rescheduling Option: If you need to reschedule, you're welcome to do so up to 4 classes within the 30-day programme. Just please let me know at least 24 hours in advance, and I’ll make sure to accommodate you. All rescheduled classes must be completed within the programme’s 30-day period.

📝 No-Show Policy: If you miss a class without giving prior notice, it will count as one of your sessions. Please try your best to let me know if you can’t attend!

🔑 Full access to the private online “suitcase”– all your course materials, presentations, audios, vocabulary sheets, and guidebooks 📖 will be in one place for easy access.

👥 Group option: If you’re in the group programme, you’ll share the same suitcase with your classmates, so you can all access the same resources and work together!

📝 Homework correction – I’ll correct your homework with personalized feedback within 24 to 48 hours ⏳. I want to ensure you understand everything, and I’ll give you clear guidance to keep you progressing.

💬 24/7 support – I’m here to help whenever you need it! I’ll respond to any questions you have within 24 hours (normally much faster, but I may be asleep due to time zone differences 💤). Feel free to reach out at any time, and I’ll be there to support you!

I understand that life happens, and sometimes things can come up unexpectedly. I want to be supportive throughout your learning journey, so if something unforeseen happens, I’m here to help in the best way I can.

• Medical Emergencies: If you find yourself unable to continue the programme due to illness or a medical emergency, please reach out to me as soon as possible. I’ll need documentation, and we can work together to find a solution.

• Family or Personal Emergencies: If you experience a family emergency or other significant life event, I’ll assess your situation individually and we can discuss possible adjustments. 

• Communication Is Key: If any of these situations arise, please don’t hesitate to contact me right away. The sooner I know, the sooner we can come up with a solution that works for both of us.

• Case-by-Case Review: Every request for an exception will be reviewed on an individual basis. While I strive to be as understanding and flexible as possible, please understand that I can’t guarantee the same outcome for every situation.

• If you’re feeling unwell and unable to continue the programme, here’s what we can do:

  • Programme Extension: If needed, I can extend your programme by up to one week to give you more time to complete your lessons once you’ve recovered.
  • No Worries: I’ll work with you to ensure you get the most out of the programme without feeling rushed or pressured.

That's me! I’m Lucía, a passionate Spanish teacher with over 4 years of experience teaching Spanish to students from all over the world. I’m certified by the Cervantes Institute for levels A1, A2, B1, and B2. I’ve designed this programme based on my experience and curriculum, and I’m dedicated to helping you learn Spanish in an engaging and supportive environment!

My teaching style is interactive and communicative, which means you’ll be speaking and practicing Spanish as much as possible. I focus on real-life conversations and ensuring you can express yourself confidently in different situations. I believe learning should be enjoyable, and I love integrating cultural aspects of the Spanish-speaking world into my lessons.

Yes! Apart from Spanish, I speak English, Italian, and Chinese. And at the moment, I'm learning Indonesian. I come from a translation and interpreting background!

Apart from teaching, I’m passionate about art, dance, and travel. I love immersing myself in different cultures, learning new languages, and experiencing the world firsthand. I adore cats and pistacho ice cream!

I’ve had the amazing opportunity to live and work in different parts of the world. I moved to Shanghai in 2018 and 2019, where I taught Spanish for a few months before embarking on new adventures. I’ve also lived in other countries, including the UK for over a year, and now I’m based in Ubud, Bali, where I continue teaching Spanish online.
